The inspiration to write this series of books began over thirty years ago when I was sincerely praying for hope for the world and received an immediate bizarre response. Strange as it sounds, a small part of the story was implanted in my mind. As a young person I said I wanted to be a writer and I have written a variety of pieces for various purposes, but this saga is bigger than anything I'd ever written before. Whenever I give the project time, the story unfolds and amazes me. As a child, I was an avid reader and I increased my vocabulary by referring to the dictionary often. I love playing with words. Scrabble is my favorite board game and I play word games on-line with friends and strangers. I'm a California girl, young at-heart forever; living in one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, Lake Tahoe. I live in gratitude for all I am, all I have; all I've done and all I have yet to do. I am a night owl; my best writing time is at night, into the wee morning hours, when the world around me is quiet. I've been married for 35 years and we have two sons and a business. I have been involved in various volunteer organizations and have looked after a few precious elders who had no family. Life is busy. I enjoy cooking and baking and I make my own ice cream. Mocha Almond Fudge is my favorite flavor. Long before I knew what it was, I felt I had a destiny to fulfill. Now I know by writing these books I am doing what I was meant to do. I'm on my own path. It is a joyful journey when I become engrossed in the process, but life often gets in the way. I am grateful I went to college and earned my degrees when college didn't cost and arm and a leg! The School of Environmental Studies at Sonoma State University enabled me to select my own course studies. During a trend toward specialization, I chose to become a generalist to broaden my understanding of the world in which we live. I must say, I'm not fond of what we've created in our society. I am a "big picture" person; a visionary for a better world and that is what this story is all about.. I wish everyone luck, love and laughter! May your soul's objectives be fulfilled.
